Mike Clancy

Brantford-Brant MPP Candidate

Vote Mike Clancy for Caring

We have a “health and housing emergency” of  homelessness, low wages, low social service benefits but high food and rent in Brantford, Brant and Six Nations.

Why do politicians abandon us after they have our vote?

In 2025, 30% of Ontario needs food banks. 50,000+ are homeless or couch surfing.  Disabled people begging for shelter are denied at -10C.

Doug Ford cut healthcare while wasting $4 BILLION !!

Human Life is worthless to Liberals and Conservatives. They don’t care about YOU and me!

Shout it out:

Raise my income!!

Lower my costs!!

Provide proper health and senior care!!

At Citizens Advocate paralegal, I won dignity and money for citizens.

Average rent is $1700. Fighting for a $25 minimum wage and sick days for you, will win a better life for my daughter’s generation. Fighting for double ODSP and Ontario Works and OAS, means fewer people need food banks. Rent-control on all apartments and fines for illegal evictions will prevent many losing homes. Fighting for universal public healthcare makes our loved ones safer.

When you vote for Clancy, you are saying, “None of the Above” to the corrupt establishment.

I’m on your side. You should be too.  Vote Clancy for Caring!

My Main Priority

Proud, loving father of Christina and Astrid.

Experience Working for YOU

Employment Counselling and Community Economic Development:

When I helped citizens escape poverty, the health and happiness of their children improved dramatically.

Ombudsman Ontario and Citizens Advocate

Fought greedy cruel corporations and government to win money and dignity for Canadians.

After NAFTA was signed, public servants complained their managers violate the criminal code to profit with a bonus by wrongly denying OW, ODSP, WSIB, and Employment Insurance benefits to many entitled workers causing workers to lose their families, become homeless, lose hope and some kill themselves. Nurses complained, to earn a bonus, managers denied healthcare to patients and some patients died when sent home too soon after surgery.

My Gratitude to Canada

In my childhood, Canada promised to never again abandon a citizen to face disasters, penniless and alone.

Canada rejected America’s 18th century constitution that gave the rich the legal right to own other people who are disposable.

Two protestant ministers Stanley Knowles and Tommy Douglas forced Liberals and Conservatives to create a 20th century constitution protecting universal public healthcare and social safety net to care for and protect Canadians with rent control, affordable housing, affordable university, full employment, and pensions.

So, my family suddenly escaped poverty

In gratitude, my sisters and I went to work caring for others,

2022 I campaigned for a health and housing emergency

The newspaper declared a crisis of sick and disabled homeless people. An article described homeless people as subhuman vermin who don’t feel pain like normal human beings. City housing said the housing waiting list is ’8 years, Welcome to America.’  I ran for council, declaring a ‘housing and healthcare emergency’ to force the politicians to care and provide full housing.

More than 300 women in Brant, from all parties earn over $100,00. Without spending your own money, we could save desperate women who are traumatized repeatedly. Women told me they are forced to choose abuse or sex for protection or assault at home or on the street, or a shelter or a tent. Landlords demand sex or eviction including sex with children.

Mothers told me their daughters are sexually assaulted in the shelter. Disabled seniors were refused shelter at -10 C. Mothers told me police drop violent criminals into the shelters. Women told me they can’t escape abusive spouses. Instead of providing full housing and healthcare, one councillor told me, the politicians will hire more constables, “to keep those people constantly moving in the hope they will get the message and go away and die somewhere out of my sight.”

Can you imagine greater corruption than abandoning desperate human beings?

Vote Clancy for Caring in 2025

Now our politicians want to invoke the constitution’s notwithstanding clause allowing them to tear down tents. They want to strip away this last bit of protection from desperate people, treat them like criminals because they are poor. The heartless monsters intend to tear down the tents of homeless people and keep them moving until they get the message and go away and die somewhere out of sight. “

In the reports back to 1995, you can read Brantford’s plan to gentrify the downtown like a university campus, like a pristine picture-perfect town square free of all the local people, like they do in Alabama.

Politicians brought in thousands of innocent students without enough dormitories. They installed several layers of police and security guards from the beginning, fully aware they were creating a pressure cooker, evicting local people who hoped to raise families, causing heartbreak, domestic abuse, conflict, assaults, couch surfing, sex for rent, homelessness especially for disabled people and First Nations, hopelessness and addiction and suicides. Are profit and property sacred? To Brantford establishment, we the people and the newcomers are disposable.

I will represent you.

My None of the Above 2025 Platform

Stop waiting for the world to change.

5 minutes after your vote, your Liberal or Conservative MPP doesn’t care about you or your family, but corporations can influence him every day.

Liberal and Conservative promises.

  • 1998, Conservatives promised us referendums to keep government accountable between elections.
  • 2015, Trudeau Liberals promised proportional representation to make politicians accountable at election time.

Take charge of your vote.

  • Our 3R Platform:
    • Referendum? We can change the mind of politicians.
    • Recall? We can fire the politicians.
    • Representative Democracy? Proportional vote.

All the best,

Mike Clancy
